There are no true black Super Heroes... Im serious..wiki the list... Do you know any of those names?
John Stewart the Green Lantern from Justice League? Even he was following Hal Jordan. Bishop from the XMen..perhaps. The simple fact is Black Super Heroes are largely relegated afterthoughts of creators trying to do the right thing. One of the most recent is John Jones (The Martian Manhunter) in Smallville played by Phillip Morris... or even Handcock. Looking back on the total history of the comic book, what would the world be like today if black kids all grew up with a Super Hero that looked like them?!
