Well tonight is the night, my third showing of my work in Toronto and my second year in a row for this event at Ryerson University. Tonight I will be showing 22 photographs that illustrate the vogue ball scene in Toronto which is largely celebrating its fifth anniversary along with Toronto's first house, The House of Monroe. I wish to thank LaLi Mohamed for choosing my work again for this show. He has been a most amazing friend. I also want to thank Travoy for his facilitation and everyone for participating in the media blitz for this day by allowing IN Toronto and Xtra to feature some of the images. The surest way to be part of history is to be in history. Thank You!
Im looking forward to tonight. This event comes on the heels of a life changing event for my life which I will soon share...
As part of this year Black History Month Celebration IN Toronto Magazine featured tonights show in their February issue. I have included the Magazine spread and the online version.
The Event was also covered in Xtra in both print and online
